Attention High School Students:
Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Yellow Rose Race.
The in-person race will be held on Saturday, August 12 at Allison Park. As far as timeline, the race begins at 8 a.m. with the National Anthems and Award Ceremony to round at the event starting around 10:30 a.m.

A and B Honor Roll
Mr. Edman's construction class has made great progress on the outdoor shelter/classroom at the school forest.
Mr. Barker's Honors Biology class has completed seven separate geocaches that are now in the school forest for anybody to find. Attached to the school forest sign is a labeled box that has instructions and paper keys for each geocache. You will need a GPS or phone to participate.

The warm school days have made for good conditions for a few outdoor science experiments. Pictured here are college in the schools environmental science students about to do some water quality testing at the Warroad River and 8th graders recording the temperature inside their solar boxes they designed to cook a s'more.
Congratulations to Kendra Heppner, Anna Heppner, and Abbey Hopkins. They won the poppy poster contest and will receive $10 from the American Legion Auxiliary.
All 6th graders that completed a poster will receive a DQ treat from the Legion Auxiliary.
Seniors are: Abby, Natalie, Katie, Katierie, Cal, Alexis, Autum, and Elle. Juniors are: Taylor Halverson, Madison Wegand, Cijae McLaughlin, and Shanx Stricker.
The Lead4Change Student Leadership Program is a leadership curriculum with a framework for authentic community service. With over 17,000 projects, these 12 students and their service projects were approved and accepted at the Lead4Change national level.
