##Construction Update##
Due to the ongoing road work on Cedar Avenue, there will be some alternative entrances to the school for the remainder of the week. From now until 12:00pm on Tuesday, July 10th, please use the path shaded in Red. After 12:00pm on Tuesday, July 10th, please use the area shaded in Yellow. We don't know how long this detour will be in place, as the contractors provide us updates, we will be sure to post them to social media.

Please note ** there has been a slight change to the days of "Healing and Wellness through Art" due to classroom equipment being in the hallways for summer classroom preparations. For the safety of the students, the Art program will be held today and tomorrow, July 9- July 10th, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. The day/time can be completely flexible for the students, if they choose to join for a couple hours and leave earlier. Please advise and we can call parents as needed. This is for any students in entering 4th-12th grade. This is a free event!

Lake of the Sandhills Golf Course in Buffalo Point will be hosting The Access Junior Golf Tour on Friday, August 16th. It's a close trip for all the youth golfers in Warroad (and surrounding areas).
The Access Junior Golf Tour provides a low-cost opportunity for young golfers between the ages of 9 -18 to meet other juniors their age and have a fun-filled day of golf.

Earlier this week our elementary teachers had the opportunity to spend a couple days back in the students' seats as they leaned into learning more about our elementary ELA curriculum and weaving both reading and writing into their literacy instruction. #lifelonglearners

A & B Honor Roll
The Warroad Public School Native American Education Program took students and parents on a little Adventure! Yesterday we explored the "North American Bear Center" in ELY, MN. It was tons of fun, smiles, laughs, questions and great conversations! The students were respectful, brave, smart and well behaved! We had tons of fun, taking in all the activities they had to offer! What a cool place and amazing opportunity. We played with snakes and turtles, learned about different animals, fish, adaptations, and held different animal furs. We built our own take on a bear den, explored and had a scavenger hunt in the Museum and Northwoods Ecology hall and met the bears- Tasha, Lucky and Holly, up close and personal! They sure love their peanuts and carrots! Thank you to our group students and parents and our amazing bus driver! We had tons of fun and learned many new things!

5th Annual Summer Shooting Practice Camp! Hone your skills with Warroad Warrior Trapshooting by participating in Trap, Annie Oakley, and other fun shooting games. Each shooter will shoot an equivalent of 2-25 count target rounds per week.
Payment will be due at the time of registration, by check to WWTC. Please drop payment off at the Warroad City Office, Attn: Kathy Lovelace. Registration closes on Friday, June 28th at NOON.
